ARTIST'S BIO
Hey there! I’m Dani, an Ecuadorian artist based in Toronto who works in animation and illustration. I work as Creative Director for Mirage Media and I am part of the graphic design team at the Revue Cinema, designing film posters for the oldest-running cinema in the city.
My animated short “Frida in the Sky” (2023) made for my thesis at Toronto Metropolitan University’s film program was selected as semi-finalist for the Student Academy Awards.
Currently I am developing a new animated short set in Toronto about a young artist doing a painting of a park before it gets developed into a condo.
